Pain perception is individual, but most people describe a piercing as a quick pinch lasting just a few seconds. We make sure to provide comfort and a calm atmosphere throughout the entire procedure.
Have a light meal before your appointment, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to the procedure. It’s also a good idea to get enough sleep – your body handles stress better and recovers faster.
Healing time depends on the placement of the piercing, for example:
earlobe: about 2–3 months
ear cartilage: 4–6 months
nose: 3–4 months
navel: 6–12 months
tongue: 1–2 months

Proper aftercare is key to quick and trouble-free healing. Clean your piercing 1–2 times a day with saline solution or a product specifically designed for piercing care. It’s best to use microbrushes or cotton swabs – gently, without rubbing.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your piercing. Avoid unnecessary contact with the jewelry and do not twist it – this can irritate the piercing channel and prolong healing.
During the healing process:
do not use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or antibacterial ointments (they can dry out and irritate the skin),
avoid swimming in pools, lakes, or hot tubs,
be careful not to snag the piercing (e.g. with towels, clothing, or hair),
try not to sleep on a fresh piercing (especially ear piercings),
avoid cosmetics (perfume, creams, makeup) around the piercing area.
Mild redness, swelling, or discharge at the beginning is normal and part of the healing process. However, if you notice increasing pain, pus, or no improvement – contact the studio.

Yes – piercing is safe, as long as it is performed in a professional studio and with proper hygiene standards. In our studio, we work exclusively with sterile equipment, and all tools are properly disinfected and sterilized. Each sterile item is opened in front of the client.

§1 General provisions
The rules for processing the Client's personal data, including the purposes of processing and data retention periods, are set out in the Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing Policy, available on the Studio's website and constituting an integral supplement to these Regulations.
§11 Final provisions

§1 General provisions
- These regulations set out the rules for providing piercing services and concluding agreements.
- The Client is obliged to read and accept these regulations.
- REGULATIONS – the regulations of the Enigma Piercing studio,
- PIERCING – a body modification consisting of creating a puncture for the purpose of placing jewelry,
- PROCEDURE – a process that breaches the continuity of the skin or mucous membrane in order to create a piercing,
- CLIENT – an adult natural person undergoing a piercing procedure,
- STUDIO – the company KHARYTONOV IVAN ENIGMA TATTOO, 03-507 Witebska 4 m. 56, Warsaw, NIP: 8862989622,
- PIERCER – the person performing the piercing procedure,
- STUDIO PREMISES – a designated part of the building at ul. Naruszewicza 10, used for conducting business activity,
- JEWELRY – a sterile decorative item placed in the piercing,
- APPOINTMENT – a scheduled date for the procedure, including preparation and aftercare instructions,
- DEPOSIT – a payment intended to secure the appointment date (if applicable),
- TREATMENT ROOM – the room in which procedures are performed,
- WORKSTATION – the work area with tools, materials, and equipment used during the procedure.
- The price of a piercing depends on the location of the puncture, the type of jewelry, and the complexity of the procedure.
- In certain cases, a deposit is required to reserve the appointment date.
- The Studio specifies the method and deadline for deposit payment.
- The deposit is non-refundable. Failure to appear for the appointment results in loss of the deposit (unless the appointment was cancelled by the studio – in which case it is refunded in full, i.e. 100%).
- Payment for the service is made on the day of the procedure.
- The Piercer has the right to change the appointment date if:
- skin changes occur that prevent the procedure from being performed (e.g., irritation, infection),
- the client's physical condition prevents the procedure from being performed safely.
- (in such cases, occurring through no fault of the studio, the deposit is forfeited).
- The Piercer selects the appropriate technique and jewelry according to the client's anatomy.
- Jewelry used for the initial piercing is sterile and of high quality (e.g., ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium).
- The Piercer has the right to refuse to perform the procedure without giving a reason, if safety conditions are not met.
- The procedure may be interrupted if the client's condition worsens.
- The Client may not be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances.
- Accompanying persons may not be present in the treatment room.
- Touching tools or items at the workstation is prohibited.
- Bringing animals is prohibited.
- Partial exposure of the body may be required, if necessary, in order to correctly perform the procedure.
- The procedure is performed at the client's own risk.
- Before the procedure, the client is required to sign a consent form.
- The Studio is not liable for complications resulting from improper aftercare.
- Procedures are performed under sterile conditions using single-use tools.
- After the procedure, the client receives detailed aftercare instructions.
- The Studio has the right to take photographs and/or recordings of the piercing and to use them for marketing purposes (social media, website, etc.).
- By accepting these regulations, the client consents to this.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
- They may be used for piercing services at the Enigma studio.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- After the validity period expires, the voucher is non-refundable.
- When booking using a voucher, its value may be treated as a deposit.
- Contact data (first name, last name, phone number, e-mail) — until the service is completed, and in the case of an ongoing relationship with the Client (e.g., subsequent visits) — until the end of the cooperation or withdrawal of consent.
- Health-related data (e.g., allergic reactions, contraindications to the procedure) and the signed consent to the procedure — retained for 3 years, counted from the day the procedure is performed, in order to secure any potential claims related to the service performed.
- Billing data (payment confirmations) — retained for the period required by tax law, i.e., 5 years, counted from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose.
- Likeness/image (photos/videos of the piercing published on social media) — until the Client withdraws consent.
- Marketing data — until consent is withdrawn.
